House Vandree
A drow noble house of Menzoberranzan. House Vandree holds control of Velkenvelve, a prison outpost in the upper Underdark — a strategically important chokepoint between the surface world and the deeper Underdark. The house is connected to the campaign through multiple threads: Valaera Vandree's relationship with Othorion on the surface, and Asha and Xynia Vandree's command of the outpost the party passed through.

Campaign Significance
House Vandree is present in the campaign at two levels simultaneously:
On the surface: Valaera Vandree (Jezerra) operates in Luskan's underworld and has a genuine personal relationship with Othorion. She is the face of House Vandree the party knows.
In the Underdark: Ilvara commanded Velkenvelve, with Shoor, Asha, and Xynia Vandree as her primary staff. The party was held prisoner here and escaped — Ilvara and the Vandree officers pursued. Frozen bodies found outside (possibly Othorion's biological parents) were left under this command's watch. A drow scout confirmed the party's presence and route after their escape.
The house therefore likely has better intelligence on the Forge Wardens than the party realises. Whether Valaera knows what her house knows — and whether she's reported to them about Othorion — is a thread with significant consequences.
Othorion's claim to be "Othorion Baenre" (in the Gum Gum contract) puts him in a complex position relative to both House Baenre and House Vandree.
