An unnamed cavern in the deep dark — sheltered enough to camp in, with a stream for water. The Tarrasque sleeps somewhere deeper, far enough away that the party can breathe.
Description
A natural cavern in the Underdark serving as the party's current campsite. A stream runs through it, providing fresh water. The party chose this location after escaping the Tarrasque — it is well away from where the Tarrasque rests. The cavern is relatively safe for Underdark territory, defensible enough for extended recovery.
Current Status
This is the party's current location as of Session 5 — Restless Camp (18–19 Hammer, 1508 DR).
The party has been using this cavern for a multi-day recovery. Roland is working through critical exhaustion here; hot springs were mentioned as a potential further recovery option along the route. Key events that took place here:
- Item identification from Tarrasque loot (Hellfire Hammer, Quiver of Ehlonna, Tortle Shell Shield, Astral Charge Shard, Siberys Shard)
- Kefkas made first contact with The Traveler through the party's 20 dragon shards
- Othorion restrained while recovering from Blackrazor influence; Kefkas and Lireal assigned as watchers

GM Notes
The party is resting here before resuming the journey toward Neverlight Grove. The Tarrasque is sleeping elsewhere in the Underdark system — not adjacent to this camp. Roland still has exhaustion to work through; an additional recovery day was planned. The stream provides a natural supply of fresh water. Next destination: Neverlight Grove → Gracklstugh.
